Mostar is a town located in the nearby vicinity of Međugorje, between the mountains, in the wide turquoise Neretva valley. As the locals say, the town ‘made of stone and made in stone’, is the largest centre of the southern-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The white stony bridge emerging over the emerald Neretva, colourful Turkish houses with characteristics storeys and an oriental scent hovering the stalls in the winding alleys, altogether with the city’s landmarks attracts crowds of multilingual tourists from all over the world.
