Serbia is a Slavic country and somewhat wild with a multi-generational tradition but is often not included in our holiday plans. Having no access to the sea means it has not been paid that much attention. This is unfortunate as the local historical sites are first-class, not to mention the virgin landscapes. Beautiful mountain ranges, fortresses which served the locals in troubled times through a long and turbulent past, Orthodox churches providing cultural identity, cities with a unique look – you will find everything impressive.
