“''In twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade wind sin your sails.”

THE TOUR OF THE DISTILLERY
We invite you for an amazing adventure in Istria. We will visit some of the most interesting places the central peninsula has to offer. Our first stop will be Motovun. Guided by the local tour guide, we will take a tour of this picturesque town located in the heart of the peninsula. We will find more about its history, visit the main landmarks and learn more about local wines and truffles growing in the adjacent forests. The town, which was established on a 227-metre-tall hill, offers a panoramic view of the forests and wineries located beyond the city walls. After this exciting walk we will move on to a tasting experience of local specialities. We will visit the distillery which manufactures gourmet treats made from local, organic fruit and medicinal herbs.
The production process follows traditional recipes with no preservatives or artificial additives being used. During the tour of the distillery, which is about 600 sq. metres large, we will witness the production process first-hand, including the fermentation, distillation in a handmade cauldron, maceration, maturing, bottling and labelling as well as packaging. We will finish the tour with a local produce tasting experience. For those interested, there will be some time for shopping at the end of the tour.
Included in the price:
– local guide in Motovun – tour of the distillery, presentation of the production process of traditional goods, “sweet fantasy” tasting experience – three types of rakija, three types of jam, six biscuits, three types of chocolate
