Schleswig-Holstein is the most northerly situated land in Germany. The region is positioned between two seas – the Baltic and North Sea. This region is known for its numerous reserves and national parks as well as islands, which allow you to memorably sail on a yacht. Each part of the region has its charm and magic. As part of our trip, we will have an opportunity to explore the most superb places, explore the beautiful nature and visit the most marvellous towns of the region.
DAY 1:
Arrival Lübeck, the city located at Trave river which flows into the Baltic Sea. It is one of the largest ports in the Baltic. We will go on to visit the UNESCO-listed Old Town. We will have a chance to explore such monuments as the City Hall, St Mary’s Church and city gates. In the evening hours, we will arrive at a hotel, dinner and the overnight stay.
DAY 2:
After breakfast, we will take a panoramic-tour across the eastern part of Schleswig-Holstein. We will learn about the history, culture and the most interesting monuments along with other places in the region. The final point of that day will be Schleswig. Return to a hotel, have dinner and the overnight stay.
DAY 3:
After breakfast, we will move to the western part of the Land. One of the major attractions that day will be Husum, a little port town with old streets, fishermen houses, restaurants and port taverns that serve local specialities, amongst other sea foods. After the whole-day excursion along the western coast of the region, we will return to the hotel have dinner and the overnight stay.
DAY 4:
After breakfast, departure to Kiel – a city of sailors and a music festival. We will see the most interesting landmarks, such as the City Hall, St. Nicholas church and the university. We will also visit the port.
