The fish picnic is the most popular and attractive activity that is organised by us from Trogir to the surrounding Dalmatian islands. It is an all-day boat cruise with stopovers for swimming, sunbathing and dinner. One of our three main destinations is Šolta Island.
Šolta is the thirteenth largest Croatian island. It emerges from the azure sea skyline. By its beauty and healthy climate, it makes any visitor to feel relaxed and calm. It is a fishermen and farmers’ island. The island is popular for the high-quality vineyards, olive trees and highly-valued home-made honey. Its distinctive numerous bays are ideal for sunbathing and swimming in crystal-clear waters. An irresistibly beautiful Šolta, with its pristine and fascinating nature, is yet to be visited these days.
After viewing the panoramic Drvenik and enjoying free time in the Blue Lagoon, including high water diving for anybody interested, our next stop is Maslinica – an old, small fishing village on Šolta island. It is an ideal destination for those who seek calmness and escape from their daily routine. It is the only town positioned in the western part of the island. From this charming place, the heavenly views stretch across the bay and seven smaller islands.
Our third stop is Čiovo Island, which is another island of the Central Dalmatia. Čiovo is connected with Trogir by two drawbridges.
Administratively, it is divided between Split, Trogir and Okrug town. The early settlements date back to the prehistoric times. In the southern part of the island, in Rat Bay, you will be invited to a dinner to taste the Adriatic fish, wine and rakija. For groups of at least 30 people, we have prepared a live-music surprise as entertainment. Following the dinner, you will have a chance to entertain yourself by music performed by Trogir artists, as well as once again enjoy the swimming and sunbathing. This all-day excursion would allow us to explore the Dalmatian climate, unbelievably crystal-clear sea and beautiful islands, the atmosphere of charming bays and landscapes untouched by humans.
The tour price (duration about 7 hours) includes the cruise, refreshments on a boat – rakija, juice and sweets, dinner – traditional open fire grilled-fish (alternatively meat), salad, wine, water, juice and coffee.
Please bring bathing suits, towels, sun creams, or water shoes, if possible. And don’t forget a great sense of humour…
Sail out is about 09:00-10:00 a.m., and return is about4:00-5:00 p.m.
