DAY 1:

Arrival at a hotel in the late afternoon hours, a welcome drink, dinner and the overnight stay.

DAY 2:

After breakfast at a hotel, we will invite you for an all-day visit to Udine and Cividale. Our first point is Udine – one of the most important cities of Friuli region as well as one of the wealthiest Italian cities. During our walk, we will see amongst others – Piazza della Liberta, the arcade of St. John, a renaissance fountain and the column with the symbol of the Venetian Republic – the Lion of St. Mark. After the sightseeing, we will set off to Cividale, one of the most beautiful towns in Friuli, the centre of which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The town is so full of monuments from different historical periods. After visiting Cividale, we will make our way to a ham producer in San Daniele. Our visit will be combined with tasting the products. Arrival at a hotel and dinner.

DAY 3:

That day we will spend time in Trieste – a large and hustling port city. Trieste’s monuments are mainly concentrated in the city centre, at the largest municipal squares. During our sightseeing, we will see a romantic Miramare castle, main city squares with different styled churches, Grand Canal and the Roman amphitheatre. Afterwards, there will be time allocated to drink the popular Illy coffee at one of the local historic cafes and to taste the local sweets. In the afternoon hours, we will head for Aquileia town, which will not only impress connoisseurs of Ancient art. This archaeological part of the town is on the UNESCO list. After the intensive day, a fine dining experience at a hotel will still await us.

DAY 4:

After breakfast, we will depart home
