DAY 1:
Arrival at Nuremberg and a city tour with a local guide. We will stroll down the narrow streets of the historical part of the city. The municipal fortresses, colourful and wooden house facades, city squares, churches and fountains give this city an incredible feeling. After the sightseeing, there would be a free time for all in which we will head towards Strasbourg. Check-in at a hotel, dinner and the overnight stay.
DAY 2:
After breakfast, transfer to Heidelberg – the city situated in the Neckar valley, surrounded by picturesque hills. It is known for the oldest 14th century university in Germany. High above the Old Town, there is the UNESCO-listed castle, from which a breath-taking view stretches out. After free time, departure for Strasbourg – the city of which charm attracts thousands of tourists from different parts of the world. Strasbourg is mainly associated with the seat of the most important European institutions, however, it is mostly known for its historical centre – Grande Ile, which has been completely inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List. This is the place of the most important historical sites of Alsace. After the sightseeing, there would be a free time, after which we will depart to a hotel and have dinner.
DAY 3:
After breakfast, it would be time to depart to Freiburg. Freiburg offers one of the most marvelous German Old Towns. High above the Old Town, a 116-meter high cathedral tower is rising, one of the most magnificent temples of the country. Around the church, stretches the main city square where each day, except for Sunday, a market is held. We will be strolling down narrow streets, at which numerous historical sites are located, cafes and restaurants serving traditional cuisine of Baden. After the sightseeing, there would be a free time and departure for Colmar afterwards This is another charming town of the picturesque Alsace. The town is full of historical sites and it is located along the Alsace Wine Route, hence, it has been named as the capital of Alsace wines. During the walk, we will be admiring the stunning Old Town with its original architecture and in free time, we will suggest an individual exploring of the town and tasting the local specialities. Finally, as part of our programme of the day, we will visit Riquewihr – the medieval town situated in the very heart of Alsace vineyards, often described as its gem. We will invite you for an individual exploration of the town by night. Afterwards, return to a hotel, have dinner and the overnight stay.
DAY 4:
After breakfast, on the way back home, we will stop over at Stuttgart – the capital city of the German state of Baden – Württemberg, which is popular for Mercedes and Porsche manufacturing. The city is full of historical sites, amongst which we can distinguish the Old and New Palace, the monastery church, the National Gallery, Ludwigsburg Palace and others. After the sightseeing, we will have a short break for dinner and head back home afterwards.
