Kornati National Park is a Mediterranean paradise. Due to its beauty, untouched nature, diversified coastline and the rich marine flora and finer, the islands were recognised as the National Park. It is the densest archipelago on the Adriatic Sea, composed of around 150 islands, out of which two thirds, namely 89 are part of the national park set up in 1980.
The beauty of the island is about its unique look. The rocky surfaces are emerging out of mysteriously emerald sea surface, covered with scarce vegetation, fishermen’s stony houses scattered along peaceful bays, in between the arrays of stone walls – this is a typical landscape of the islands.
