Normandy is one of the most gorgeous regions of France. Its small, charming towns with picturesque architecture, scenic ports, typical French crêperies, magnificent seaside landscapes, combined with the rocks carved by the waves and superb seafood cooked in different ways is the very essence of the region. As part of the trip, we will explore Normandy, which is impressive with its landscapes, variety, and tastes.Time in this fabulous city will certainly leave you with unforgettable memories.

DAY 1:

Arrival near Rouen in the late afternoon hours – dinner at a hotel and the overnight stay

DAY 2:

After breakfast, departure for Rouen – the capital of Normandy – we will explore a charming Old Town with numerous historical sites. The town is predominantly known for its historic cathedral, in which King Richard the Lionheart’s heart is entombed, and which was made famous by Claude Monet who had painted 30 paintings presenting the shrine of different times at day. The town’s history is also closely linked with Joanna d’Arc, who was burnt at stake at Place du Vieux Marche. After free time, we will head to Giverny. Here, we will spend time on exploring Monet’s home and garden as well as have a chance to see his most renowned pieces of art. We would return to a hotel afterwards, have dinner and the overnight stay.

DAY 3:

After breakfast, we would depart to a picturesque Honfleur – a port town with a charming yacht harbour. The town used to be one of the most popular places of artists, particularly impressionists. This is also where Claude Monet was creating his art. Picture-postcard-like views will captivate the most fussy ones. Following the city sightseeing-tour with a local guide, there will be some leisure time. In the afternoon hours, a transfer to Deauville-Trouville-Sur-Mer, individual strolling down the beach, fishing port or streets with luxurious homes and high-end shops. Afterwards, we would return to a hotel, have dinner and the overnight stay.

DAY 4:

After breakfast, it would be time to depart for Etretat, a charming town situated along the Alabaster Coast next to the English Channel. Here, we will stroll along the coast and we will admire an extraordinary landscape formed of chalk cliffs on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. We would have a ride through Normandy reaching Calvados where we will stop over at one of the oldest distilleries in France. After the tasting experience, we will return to a hotel, have dinner and the overnight stay.

DAY 5:

Departure towards Amiens after breakfast at a hotel. After a short stroll around the town, it will be time to depart for home.
